Bio

Adam co-founded Rohan Short with Craig in 2023. He has worked in the construction industry since leaving school in 2007. The majority of Adam's experience has been in private sector mixed-use development, including residential and commercial new build and refurbishment projects across London and the South West. Adam also has extensive experience in the industrial warehouse and distribution sector. Alongside his role at Rohan Short, Adam is an RICS APC assessor and enjoys supporting the next generation of chartered surveyors.

Adam originally trained as a building surveyor, studying at the University of Greenwich while working in Brighton for building contractor Mears. After moving to London in 2013, he retrained as a quantity surveyor, completing a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Management at the University of Westminster while working for Walter Lilly, a specialist luxury residential contractor. He joined cost consultancy Core Five in 2015 and qualified as a chartered quantity surveyor in 2017. While at Core Five, Adam’s main projects included Amory Tower for LBS Properties, a 53-storey residential high-rise in Canary Wharf, containing 423 luxury apartments, and Hale Wharf, a two-phased joint venture between Muse and the Canal and River Trust, which included 505 new mixed-tenure apartments across ten medium and high-rise buildings in Tottenham Hale.

After relocating to Bristol in 2021, Adam joined global consultancy Currie & Brown. He continued to support Hale Wharf, as well as lead the delivery of Millwrights Place and Coopers Court, two new high-rise apartment blocks in Finzels Reach for Cubex Land, providing a total of 297 units. He also managed the One Passage Street development, a new-build 120,000 sq ft, ten-storey office block in Redcliffe for V7. Adam joined specialist industrial consultancy KAM in 2022 to help launch the new Bristol office. While at KAM, Adam continued to lead the Millwrights Place and Coopers Court projects, as well as manage numerous industrial developments for Cubex Land, including Link 155 in Magor, Cubex 156 in Highbridge, Newlands in Cardiff, and Swindon Trade Park, providing a combined total of 460,000 sq ft flexible warehousing and distribution space.
