Since graduating from the University of the West of England in 1998 with a degree in Quantity Surveying, Andy has built an extensive career working with some of Bristol’s most prominent building consultancies, including RLB, Avison Young, Arcadis, and Currie & Brown.
Joining Rohan Short in 2026, Andy brings a diverse range of experience spanning residential, commercial, industrial, retail, and mixed-use development, as well as significant public-sector expertise across defence and healthcare projects.
His portfolio includes major schemes such as the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus in Bristol for the University of Bristol, a c. 1,000-bed PBSA development; The Paragon, a landmark 75,000 sq ft commercial office scheme in central Bristol; and Brightwells Yard in Surrey, a mixed-use development delivering 100,000 sq ft of office space alongside 239 new homes. He has worked with Tesco on various new developments and extension projects, most recently in Swansea and Gloucester, and has also been involved in numerous industrial developments, most recently at Capital Court in Exeter.
Andy has delivered multiple new healthcare facilities across the South West, including medical centres and diagnostic facilities. His work with the Ministry of Defence has included the construction of new single living accommodation, major infrastructure projects such as rail and data centre facilities, and a range of communal buildings, including dining kitchens and training centres.
He also supported Camden Council with major refurbishment works at the Chalcots Estate, overseeing cladding replacement and roof repairs across multiple high-rise towers, as well as complex internal refurbishment. In addition, Andy has undertaken project monitoring roles for Grainger PLC on two schemes in Bristol: Millwrights Place, a 231-bed BTR development, and Glasshouse Square, a 468-bed BTR development.
