Bio

Chris joined Rohan Short at its launch in 2023, having previously worked with Adam and Craig across a range of residential, commercial and industrial developments. He has since progressed to Associate and plays an important role in the delivery of projects across the business.

Chris began his career in construction in 2021 after completing a degree in Economics at the University of Bristol. He initially joined a leading global construction and property consultancy while studying part-time for a master’s degree in Quantity Surveying at the University College of Estate Management. He completed his master’s degree in 2023 and qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 2025.

Chris’s early experience included several prominent commercial and mixed-use developments in central Bristol, comprising substantial new-build Grade A office accommodation alongside retail, leisure and public-realm uses.

He subsequently joined a specialist industrial and logistics consultancy, where he managed the delivery of new warehouse accommodation and supported the construction of major residential developments in Bristol. He also advised on a portfolio of industrial and logistics schemes across South Wales and the South West, providing approximately 460,000 sq ft of new warehouse, distribution and trade-counter accommodation.

Chris’s experience spans commercial, residential, and industrial and logistics developments, including both new-build and complex city-centre projects. He is also an active member of the Forum for Tomorrow Western branch and has served on its committee since 2023, currently as Vice Chair.
