Jamie joined Rohan Short in 2026 as Project Director, bringing over 35 years' experience in the construction industry. A Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), Jamie has extensive experience leading the delivery of major retail, commercial and industrial developments across the UK.
Throughout his career, Jamie has been responsible for the successful delivery of numerous high-profile projects, including the £100m Friars Walk retail and leisure development in Newport, South Wales. More recently, he managed the delivery of the 136,000 sq ft Cotswolds Designer Outlet in Tewkesbury, which opened in 2025.
Jamie's commercial experience includes the delivery of over 400,000 sq ft of new office accommodation at Green Park, a 580-acre business park in Reading, alongside securing planning consent for a further 900,000 sq ft. This included the award-winning 500 Brook Drive development, a 115,000 sq ft BREEAM Excellent office scheme delivered on time and within budget. The development received two prestigious industry awards, including Best Development Outside London at the Property Week Office Awards and Best Commercial Place at the British Council for Offices South West & South Wales Awards.
In the industrial sector, Jamie delivered over 300,000 sq ft of accommodation at The Hub, a 90-acre industrial park in Birmingham, whilst also securing outline planning consent for a further 1.6 million sq ft.
Jamie brings a wealth of experience in project leadership, development management and the coordination of multidisciplinary teams. He takes a proactive and collaborative approach, working closely with clients and project stakeholders to manage risk, overcome challenges and deliver successful project outcomes.
