We attended the Year 6 careers event at Hannah More Primary School for the third year in a row, with the aim of inspiring students and encouraging their interest in the built environment and construction careers. The pupils engaged in an activity in which they considered what design factors could affect the cost, quality, and sustainability of a residential building. It was great to respond to their questions about the day-to-day of a quantity surveyor and the different roles within a design team.
